A Taste of Who We Are

Honey Veil isn’t just a bakery or a café—it’s a reflection of who we are. A family rooted in tradition.

Sisters inspired by discipline, creativity, and culture. Daughters of a mother who taught us how to create with our hands and from the heart.

Every cookie, loaf, and cup of matcha we serve carries a little bit of that story—and we’re so grateful to share it with you.

A Family Recipe for Something More

Honey Veil started in October 2024 at a local farmer’s market. What began as a fun weekend outing quickly turned into something much more—a joyful celebration of
tradition, family, and flavor.

At the heart of Honey Veil is our mom.
For years, she’s been the one baking cakes, breads, and cooking meals for our friends and family—always from scratch, always with love. Her food has always meant more than just taste—it’s about care, connection, and comfort. Honey Veil is the natural extension of her lifelong passion.

Her story is deeply rooted in heritage. Her mother’s side is German, and her father’s side is Spanish. She was raised closely by her aunt, who passed down both the recipes and the love for handmade things—from baking and cooking to embroidery and knitting. That quiet craftsmanship shaped how we view food and creation to this day.

Built on Passion and Discipline

We grew up in that warm, creative environment. But we also spent years playing competitive tennis, traveling through Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Guatemala for tournaments. Those experiences taught us discipline, dedication, and how to fully commit to something we care about—values that now live in everything we do at Honey Veil.

Regi has always been a baker at heart. Long before Honey Veil, she was making custom cakes for birthdays and special events. Today, she pours her energy into creating wholesome versions of our favorite baked goods. From cookies to house-made syrups, her goal is to use better ingredients while keeping everything just as delicious.

From Farmer’s Markets to Our First Café

For the first few months—October through January—we sold only baked goods at farmers markets on the weekends. It was a simple start, but a special one.
Then came February 6th, 2025—our first day opening the Honey Veil trailer. That tiny trailer gave us the space to begin building the café side of Honey Veil, something we had always dreamed of.
With the trailer, Regi introduced her homemade syrups, and Ceci finally had a place to share something close to her heart: matcha and coffee. Inspired by her study abroad experience in Japan, she fell in love with the elegance and comfort of Japanese café culture.

Since then, matcha lattes, cultural influences, and specialty drinks have become a big part of what Honey Veil is all about.
